Microsoft is killing the PC or Why the console market must be integrated
Rory is answering a quote that Microsoft is killing the PC. In it he states the following:

Couple the discussion Rory is doing with the works by Clayton Christensen in Innovators Dilemma and Innovators Solution. In my humble dissection it would go like this:
The PC is not-good-enough for playing games, it doesn’t perform good enough for a specific market segment. In order to increase performance, producers have to integrate, and create interdependent systems. This will convert the consoles to a good-enough-world, and they market can disintegrate and become modular again.
Anyway, read the books by Clay Christensen, he’s (thankfully) much better in explaining this than me
